bolblar

Privacy policy

Last updated 25 September 2026

This is a draft for legal review and is not yet in force. It describes how Bolblar works today; the final version may change.

What we collect

  • Your name, email address and a scrambled form of your password, so you can sign in.
  • The country your connection comes from and your browser's language, once, to choose whether you see prices in naira or dollars.
  • The clips, images, music and recordings you upload, and the videos Bolblar makes from them.
  • What you type into your projects and into Publish Studio.
  • A record of your credits: what you bought, what each video used, and what was refunded.

What we remove

Photos and videos often carry hidden details, such as the place they were taken. We remove that information from every file when you upload it, before anything else happens to the file.

Who else handles your data

We use a few other companies to run Bolblar, and share only what each one needs:

  • Cloudflare stores your files.
  • Paystack and Stripe take payments. Your card details go to them directly; we never see or store them.
  • OpenAI writes Publish Studio text and makes voices. We send it only the words you ask it to work with.
  • An email provider sends account emails, such as the link to confirm your address.

How long we keep it

  • On the free plan, files are kept for 14 days. You get an email before they go.
  • A file you delete can be restored for 24 hours, then it is removed from storage.
  • On paid plans, files are kept for as long as your account exists.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from your settings. We sign you out everywhere, remove your projects, files and Publish Studio work, and remove your name and email address. We keep the record of payments and credits, without anything that identifies you, because the law requires financial records to be kept.
